A Dream of a Mosque In the remote village of Gajalia, South Haridebpur, Galachipa, Patuakhali, there is a dream that has been waiting for years—a dream of a safe mosque and a place where children can learn the Qur’an and gain essential Islamic knowledge. For a long time, the children of this community have had very limited opportunities to learn the Qur’an, memorize it, and receive proper religious education. Yet, their dream has not collapsed. The people of the community have prepared nearly 75 (decimals) of land for a new mosque.

Mohammad Talha, a 10-year-old child from Palakata, Jhalalabad Union under Eidgaon Police Station in Cox’s Bazar District, is currently battling a severe form of blood cancer known as Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), T-Cell type. Talha’s father, Nurul Islam, is a small grocery shopkeeper, while his mother, Farhana Akter, is a homemaker. There are six members in their family. Talha is the fifth among six siblings... four sisters and two brothers and all of them are students. With a very limited income, the family had been struggling to manage their household expenses. But suddenly, their lives were shaken by a devastating diagnosis—little Talha was found to have blood cancer.
