100 Housing Units Project for Flood Victims Officially Inaugurated
During the event, selected families, chosen in a fully transparent manner by dedicated local volunteers of the foundation, received essential household materials from the Honorable Adviser and ASH Foundation Chairman, Engineer Muhammad Nasir Uddin. The ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Ismail Hossain, Department of Chemistry, University of Chittagong and Advisor to the foundation; District Commissioner of Lakshmipur Suraia Jahan; Superintendent of Police Tarek Bin Rashid; Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar) Sohel Rana; Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Arifur Rahman; Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Police Station Yasin Majumdar, along with other respected officials and local volunteers. The initiative aims to provide sustainable housing solutions for families displaced by floods and ensure their dignity and safety through long-term rehabilitation. Moreover, NAHAR, SWMA, ABAM Foundation, and Durbin Foundation provided strong support to flood-affected homeless people.
