Dream to Build a Free Water Purification Plant
To reduce the suffering of patients’ attendants, a water supply line has been installed on every floor of the hospital, ensuring they no longer need to go downstairs to collect drinking water. This modern purification plant is capable of refining and supplying 2,000 liters of water per hour. Its operational cost, including steel-frame structure maintenance and the salary of a dedicated staff member, is approximately BDT 19 lakhs per year. The Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation (ASH Foundation) aims to expand this initiative across all government hospitals in the country, ensuring that safe drinking water is easily accessible to every individual. The foundation has called upon everyone to come forward in support of this initiative. Donations from interested individuals can help extend this essential service to more public hospitals, benefiting thousands of people with access to clean and safe drinking water.
